Mumbai Police Register Case Against CJP Organisers After Shivaji Park 'Jail Bharo' Gathering

Mumbai Police registered a case against organisers of the Cockroach Janta Party's Oct 2 protest at Shivaji Park, which went ahead as a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' on Gandhi Jayanti despite police denying permission (citing a 2013 Bombay High Court order on use of the ground, noise, traffic and hospital access). The CJP is demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and changes to the electoral-roll revision process.
