CBSE Class 12 Results Trigger On-Screen Marking (OSM) Controversy

| India Youth Uprising

CBSE declares Class 12 results using On-Screen Marking (OSM), a digital evaluation system introduced at scale for the first time. Within days, complaints flood in of unexpectedly low marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, blurred scans, and multi-page answers evaluated only partially. CBSE later identifies roughly 5,000 blurred-sheet cases and 23 instances of answer sheets belonging to a different candidate, out of about 98 lakh sheets from 18 lakh candidates.
