Terrorists Kill Two Non-Local Labourers at Kulgam Brick Kiln

On July 31, 2026, unidentified terrorists opened fire on two non-local labourers at a brick kiln in Kilam village, Kulgam district, South Kashmir — the first attack on civilians in the Valley since the April 2025 Pahalgam massacre. The victims, identified as Deepak (Chhattisgarh) and Bopinder (Uttar Pradesh), were migrant workers; Deepak died at the scene while Bopinder succumbed to critical injuries at a Srinagar hospital despite treatment. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched search operations to trace the attackers.
