Magyar Warns Orbán-Linked Oligarchs Fleeing Hungary with Billions

Magyar specifically named billionaire Lőrinc Mészáros — Orbán's childhood friend and Hungary's richest man — as among those moving their families to Dubai, with children reportedly withdrawn from school and private security arranged for departure. Magyar called on law enforcement and courts to freeze assets and prevent the departure of key figures, framing the flight as an attempt to escape accountability under his incoming anti-corruption administration. Hungary's mining authority separately launched a preliminary investigation into a company linked to the Orbán family.
