Explosions reported on Qeshm Island and at Jask; two tankers reportedly hit mines or on fire in Hormuz

Explosions were reported on Iran's Qeshm Island and at Jask, and Iranian-sourced reports say two oil tankers caught fire or struck mines in the Strait of Hormuz. Cause, vessel identities and casualties are not independently confirmed. Further tanker losses would add to shipping and insurance disruption affecting food and fertiliser import flows.
