UKMTO reported Monday that a tanker conducting an inbound transit of the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an unidentified projectile, injuring two crew members with minor wounds; the vessel remained under its own power and continued to its next port of call, with no environmental impact reported. The strike came as shipping data showed just 17 commodity vessels transited the strait over the weekend, down from 37 the week before, against a pre-war daily baseline of roughly 125 large commercial vessels -- among trackable ships, five exited the strait Sunday and two small oil tankers entered the Gulf, according to Kpler. IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi separately warned that Iran would "change the geography of the war" and deploy new weapons if the US escalates further, saying "our targets will no longer necessarily be the same as before."
