38th Saturday March 'Georgia Against Ivanishvili' Draws Zourabichvili on Protest Day 647
On the 647th consecutive day of anti-government demonstrations, thousands marched from Avlabari to Parliament in the 38th Saturday rally under the banner 'Georgia against Ivanishvili,' the movement's clearest framing yet of Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili as the crisis's central figure. Former president Salome Zourabichvili joined the march, telling participants the ruling structure was collapsing from within, while demonstrator Tato Kelbakiani said: 'On one side is the Georgian people, on the other is Ivanishvili and the power surrounding him.' Marchers carried Georgian, EU, US and Ukrainian flags alongside portraits of political prisoners and repeated the movement's core demands: new parliamentary elections, release of detained protesters, and a return to the EU accession path.
