HRW: New Laws 'Devastate' Independent Civic Groups

Human Rights Watch reported that the cumulative effect of Georgia's foreign-agents, broadcasting and grant-restriction laws had devastated independent civil society, forcing closures and mass staff departures at NGOs that had operated for decades.
