Hundreds of Protests Across France; Paris March From Porte d'Italie

Hundreds of demonstrations were expected across France on 24 October, with shops, businesses and tourist sites reported closed. In Paris the march sets off from Porte d'Italie at 14:00 on the prefecture-imposed route toward Porte de Vincennes, which remains the only authorised route after the administrative court rejected an appeal.
