Defence Ministers Press for Patriot Interceptors for Ukraine at Foreign Affairs Council

EU defence ministers met in Brussels under High Representative Kaja Kallas to discuss military support for Ukraine, hybrid threats, the Middle East situation and defence procurement. Discussion centred on urgently needed air-defence interceptors, EUMAM Ukraine training, cooperation between Ukrainian and European defence manufacturers, and curbing Russia's shadow fleet. Kallas appealed to states holding Patriot interceptors to release them to Ukraine immediately while replacements are manufactured.
