HRW: 'Dangerous Partnership' Report Documents US-Ecuador Operation Abuses

Human Rights Watch publishes a 94-page report, 'A Dangerous Partnership,' documenting torture and arbitrary detention of farm workers, the burning of a dairy farm, and unexplained drone attacks on fishing boats with several fishermen missing, during joint US-Ecuador 'partnered operations.' Americas director Juanita Goebertus says: 'US-Ecuador cooperation on security has been too opaque and too dangerous for Ecuadorians,' calling for increased congressional oversight.
