| Digital Inclusion

SpaceX confirmed on June 4, 2026 that Starlink has crossed 12 million active customers, up from 9 million at the start of 2025 and 10.3 million reported in its Q1 2026 IPO prospectus. The service now covers subscribers across more than 160 countries and territories, having activated more than 35 new markets during 2025. Growth has accelerated sharply — the jump from 10 million to 12 million took roughly 53 days, averaging about 27,700 new customers per day. SpaceX has said Starlink's next-generation V3 satellites will deliver more than 10x the bandwidth per satellite, supporting a target of 25 million subscribers by the end of 2026 as the network races to connect the roughly 2.2 billion people still offline worldwide.
