El Chapo Extradited to United States

Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán Loera was extradited from Mexico to the United States, arriving at a New York federal facility. His sons Ovidio, Iván Archivaldo, Jesús Alfredo, and Joaquín Guzmán López immediately began consolidating control of the Sinaloa Cartel's operations under the 'Los Chapitos' faction. The extradition transferred day-to-day cartel command to a younger, more aggressive generation.
