Caribou Biosciences CEO Presents at Jefferies — Vispa-cel Pivotal Trial Alignment, CB-011 RMAT (92% ORR in Myeloma), and Expansion into Lupus Nephritis via Allogeneic CRISPR CAR-T

Caribou Biosciences (CRBU) CEO Rachel Haurwitz, Ph.D., participated in a fireside chat at the 2026 Jefferies Global Healthcare Conference on June 4, 2026 at 2:35 p.m. ET in New York. Key pipeline updates: (1) Vispa-cel (vispacabtagene regedleucel, CB-010): Allogeneic anti-CD19 CAR-T for relapsed/refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (r/r B-NHL). CB-010 incorporates CRISPR-edited T cells with deletion of PDCD1 (PD-1) to increase persistence and efficacy — a key differentiator from first-generation allogeneic CAR-T. Phase 1 ANTLER trial data (84 total patients; 80×10⁶ CAR-T cells as recommended Phase 2 dose) established pivotal trial alignment with the FDA under RMAT designation. Long-term durability data from ANTLER are scheduled for presentation at the European Hematology Association (EHA) Annual Meeting in Stockholm (June 12, 2026, Abstract S236). (2) CB-011: Allogeneic anti-BCMA CAR-T with 'immune cloaking' deletions (TRAC, B2M) plus overexpression of CD47 ('don't-eat-me signal') for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. The FDA granted RMAT designation based on a 92% overall response rate (ORR), 75% complete response (CR) rate, and 91% minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity in 12 BCMA-naive patients in the CaMMouflage Phase 1 trial. Extended follow-up data are scheduled for EHA (June 14, 2026, Abstract S201). (3) CB-010 Lupus Nephritis IND: Caribou received FDA IND clearance to expand CB-010 (anti-CD19 allogeneic CAR-T) into autoimmune disease — specifically active lupus nephritis and extrarenal lupus — extending CRISPR-edited cell therapies beyond oncology into a high-burden inflammatory condition. Data from the first patients in the lupus cohort are expected in H2 2026.
