WHO Launches ACT-Accelerator for Equitable COVID Tools

WHO, Gavi, CEPI, and partners launch the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator — a global collaboration to accelerate development and equitable access to COVID diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines. The COVAX pillar would later deliver nearly 2 billion doses to lower-income nations. By end of 2020, ACT-Accelerator raises $18.6 billion.
