Operation Perla: 148 Arrested in Anti-Kidnapping and Extortion Sweep

Police Gaula units and the Attorney General's Office arrested 148 people across six cities and 12 departments, including 19 ELN, 15 Clan del Golfo, 11 ACSN and 5 FARC-dissident members; 75 were held for extortion and 32 for kidnapping. Five suspected gang members (2 ELN, 3 FARC dissidents) were killed. Authorities seized 24 firearms, 12 grenades, 262 phones and a drone.
