Joshua Wong Pleads Guilty in Second National Security Case
Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong pleaded guilty to collusion with a foreign country in a second national security case, compounding his existing imprisonment. Wong, already serving time from previous convictions under the National Security Law, entered the plea before Hong Kong's High Court. The case continues Beijing's sweeping crackdown on political dissent in the city following the 2020 imposition of the NSL.
