Xiong'an 'AI+' Industry Forum Convenes Alongside ZGC Forum — Policy Incentives Unveiled

| China Tech

The Xiong'an 'Artificial Intelligence+' Industry Ecosystem Integration Development Forum was held on April 1 as a parallel event to the 2026 Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum, drawing more than 400 AI experts, investors, and government officials globally. The event unveiled a comprehensive package of R&D incentives and policy support measures for AI enterprises relocating to or operating in the Xiong'an New Area — the satellite city under construction near Beijing designated under China's 14th and 15th Five-Year Plans as a showcase for AI-integrated urban development. Key announcements included dedicated AI industrial parks, GPU cluster access subsidies for AI startups, and streamlined regulatory pathways for autonomous systems testing. Xiong'an has been designated in the 15th Five-Year Plan as one of China's three national AI demonstration zones alongside Shanghai's Zhangjiang hub and the Shenzhen-Guangzhou-Hong Kong Greater Bay Area tech corridor.
