Toronto Ranked Worst Air Quality of Any Major City in the World

Wildfire smoke from over 180 active Ontario fires (136 in the northwest) turned Toronto's skies orange; IQAir ranked Toronto's air quality the worst of any major city in the world, ahead of Kinshasa and New Delhi. An orange weather alert was issued and Toronto General/Western hospitals logged 36 air-quality-related ER visits.
