Timmins 9 Fire Forces Mattagami First Nation Evacuation

The Timmins 9 fire grew to approximately 3,300 hectares, forcing more than 160 residents of Mattagami First Nation to evacuate before the fire was contained on June 15 — one of the first First Nations evacuations of the season.
