Lightning Sparks Four Fires in Wood Buffalo National Park, NWT

A lightning storm ignited four wildfires inside Wood Buffalo National Park, Northwest Territories. The largest grew to roughly 35,288 hectares by May 29, an early signal of the extreme lightning-driven activity that would hit the NWT hardest of any jurisdiction this season.
