RM Celebrates Early Birthday Onstage as BTS Closes SoFi Stadium Run

September 6, 2026 — During the fourth and final night of BTS's SoFi Stadium stand in Los Angeles, bandmates and ARMY marked RM's birthday six days early, since the group would no longer be together in Los Angeles by his actual Sept 12 birthday. Backstage during soundcheck, members and staff surprised him with a candle-lit cake; onstage, Suga draped a multicolor 'Happy Birthday' sash over RM's shoulders and topped him with a pink paper crown as the septet led the stadium in singing to him. ARMY organized a coordinated 'RM Birthday Project,' printing an estimated 26,000 signs held up during his closing ment and during 'ARMY Time.'
