BTS Opens Toronto Rogers Stadium Stand After Storm Delay

| BTS

August 22, 2026 — BTS opened its two-night Rogers Stadium stand in Toronto — the group's first Canadian shows in over a decade and its only Canadian stop on the 88-show, 34-city ARIRANG World Tour. Environment Canada issued a yellow severe-thunderstorm warning as fans arrived; organizers evacuated roughly 50,000 fans from the grandstands to the fan plaza as thunder and heavy rain hit the outdoor Downsview venue. The storm cleared about three songs in and the show, delayed from its scheduled 8:00 p.m. start, began at 8:25 p.m. and ran to 10:35 p.m. across a 25-song, 360-degree in-the-round set. Fans — some who had traveled from as far as Niagara Falls — called it 'one of my favorite shows' despite the rain-soaked conditions. The visit coincided with the city's temporary 'BTS Boulevard' co-naming of a Yonge Street stretch and the Toronto Korean Festival.
