BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Busan — Day 2; No FESTA Content Released on Korean Memorial Day
June 6, 2026 — South Korea's Memorial Day (현충일), a national public holiday commemorating fallen soldiers. In keeping with BTS's longstanding practice of observing national mourning days, Big Hit Music releases no new FESTA content on June 6, creating an intentional pause in the BTS FESTA 2026 schedule. Despite the content gap, 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Busan' enters its second day of operation with several venues open to the tens of thousands of international ARMY who have arrived in Busan for the BTS WEEK period. Active installations on Day 2 include: the ARMY Welcome Center at Busan Eurasia Platform, the LOVE QUARTER fan community spaces at Port Village Busan and along the Haeundae Beach promenade, a large-format Media Art Wall at Busan Eurasia Platform, the Grand Josun Media façade display at Grand Josun Busan, BTS POP-UP: ARIRANG at Shinsegae Centum City (runs June 5–14), and ARTE MUSEUM BUSAN showcasing ARIRANG-themed immersive digital art (open through July 3). The Gwangbok-ro Media Facade and Media Pole installations along Busan's main shopping street also continue operation. Fan communities hold informal gathering events at open plazas near the concert venue, with ARMY from over 60 countries documented on social media. Busan's purple-lit landmarks — including Busan Port, Haeundae Beach promenade, and Dongbaek Island — remain illuminated for the BTS WEEK period. The Busan Asiad Main Stadium anniversary concerts are now 6 days away.
