BTS Opens Debut El Paso Run — Night 1 at Sun Bowl Stadium; Surprise Songs 'ON' + 'OUTRO: WINGS [NEW]'

| BTS

On May 2, 2026, BTS performs the first of two sold-out nights at Sun Bowl Stadium on the UTEP campus in El Paso, Texas — the group's first-ever performances in El Paso and in the US–Mexico border region. The stadium's capacity of approximately 51,500 is sold out for both nights, with fans traveling from across West Texas, New Mexico, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Pre-show lines for official merchandise formed as early as 9 AM, with KTSM 9 News documenting ARMY taking over the downtown corridor and the Sun Bowl area ahead of the 8:00 PM showtime. The Night 1 surprise songs are 'ON' (from the 2020 album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7) and 'OUTRO: WINGS [NEW]' — a new arrangement of the 2016 Wings-era track, marking its debut performance. The ARIRANG World Tour rotating 360-degree stage fills the Sun Bowl end zone configuration, allowing viewing from all sides. El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser and UTEP President Heather Wilson are reported to be in attendance. KVIA and KTSM both cover the fan community gathering ahead of the event, describing the cross-border ARMY presence as transformative for the city's hospitality economy. The El Paso run follows the Tampa, Florida leg (April 25–28, three nights, ~190,000 fans) and precedes a Las Vegas residency at Allegiant Stadium (May 23, 24, 27, 28).
