Following the April 3 fake streaming data controversy, HYBE escalated its response on April 4, filing a rare international lawsuit against an Argentine online defamer. HYBE's legal team stated the company was taking an increasingly firm stance against coordinated misinformation campaigns targeting BTS and other HYBE artists during the ARIRANG comeback period. Separately, Koreaboo and Outlook India reported that HYBE also faced fan criticism over the decision to keep 'Come Over' as a vinyl-only release, with some ARMY members accusing the company of exploiting Suga's status to drive collector sales.
