BTS releases 'Map of the Soul: 7' — their fourth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. The album sells 4.1 million copies worldwide in its first nine days, breaking all K-pop records. The 39-date Map of the Soul Tour is subsequently cancelled due to COVID-19.
