San Juan Activates Transportation and Security Plan for 60,000+ Bad Bunny Fans

Ahead of the Aug 22–23 "Cerramos en Casa" shows, the City of San Juan announced a citywide transportation and security plan to handle an estimated 60,000+ attendees across both nights (about 30,000 per night, including staff). Municipal Police Commissioner Juan Jackson said the deployment — 60 municipal officers, 30 security cameras, drone surveillance, specialized rapid-response and motorcycle units, and a Command Center coordinating with state police and federal agencies — was unprecedented in his 27 years on the force given the production's scale. Tren Urbano will run free service from 10 a.m. to a dedicated Roosevelt Station stop, with free ATI buses shuttling fans to the stadium and a designated Uber pickup lane on Roosevelt Avenue; all stadium parking will be closed. Nearly 1,000 workers built out the production, which includes 205 portable restrooms and water tanks to offset regional water rationing. Firearms are barred from the venue. Mayor Miguel Romero Lugo said the goal was "a safe and organized environment" that minimizes disruption to residents.
