Government Presents Ayotzinapa Progress Report; Parents Not Invited
Undersecretary for Human Rights Arturo Medina and special prosecutor Mauricio Pazarán presented the Segob–FGR report at President Sheinbaum's morning conference, two days after the anniversary. It outlines new investigative lines using methods not previously applied and analysis of case files and phones used the night of the disappearance. Sheinbaum said the investigation is not closed and that parents were not convened because the content matched what they were told earlier ('no hay nada nuevo'); Proceso reported parents had not yet had access to the report.
