Father of Disappeared Student Everardo Rodríguez Bello Dies Without Answers

Francisco Rodríguez Morales, father of disappeared student Everardo Rodríguez Bello, died in the early morning in the community of Omeapa, Tixtla municipality, without learning his son's fate nearly 12 years after the disappearances. His wife, Minerva Bello, who led the search for their son, died of cancer in 2018. Local reporting counted him among at least seven to eight parents of the 43 who have now died during the search without resolution.
