'Marcha de la Bronca' Draws Thousands Nationwide Against Milei's Austerity Program

Left-wing parties, trade unions, retirees, students, and human-rights groups staged the 'Marcha de la Bronca' (March of Anger), mobilizing in more than 30 cities nationwide with a central rally running from Congress to Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. More than 350 organizations joined to protest Milei's austerity program, citing disability and university funding cuts, more than 30,000 company closures since December 2023, and rising unemployment. Thousands attended the Buenos Aires rally, among the largest anti-government demonstrations since Milei took office.
