Pakistan Kills 9 Fitna al-Hindustan Militants, Including Commander Naqeeb, in Mastung and Pishin Operations
Pakistani security forces killed nine militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan — the military's designation for India-linked Baloch militant networks — in two separate operations in Balochistan on September 14, 2026. In Mastung district, security forces used a quadcopter to strike a vehicle carrying militants, killing three including commander Naqeeb and completely destroying the vehicle. Separately, the Counter-Terrorism Department and Anti-Terrorist Force conducted a joint intelligence-based raid in the Saranan area of Pishin district after suspects refused to surrender; the resulting gunfight killed six militants and wounded four ATF personnel, with five more suspects arrested and arms, ammunition and grenades seized. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the operations demonstrated the capability and determination of Pakistan's security forces in combating militant threats across Balochistan.
