TTP Attack on Hanna Urak/Killi Babri Village, Quetta Kills 4-5 Civilians

TTP gunmen attacked Killi Babri village in the Hanna Urak area of Quetta on the night of July 4, 2026. Residents fought back and repelled the assault; reports indicated 4-5 civilians killed, 6-9 injured, and 11 people abducted (all later recovered safely by around July 10). The attack sparked protests that blocked Quetta's Airport Road and, together with a wider wave of militant attacks across Balochistan in early July, prompted Pakistan to launch a dedicated counterterrorism operation (Operation Shaban) on July 5.
