A Ukrainian strike on Shebekino, a Russian border town in Belgorod Region roughly 5 km from Ukraine, killed 4 people on September 3 — a doctor, a medic, and a married couple — and injured 3 others, according to acting regional governor Alexander Shuvayev. Several houses and vehicles were damaged. The strike was part of a broader wave of roughly 180 Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod Region over the prior 24 hours, which separately killed 1 civilian and injured 21 (including 2 children) region-wide. Separately, the head of Russian-controlled Donetsk Region said Ukrainian drone strikes killed 3 civilians across three districts the same day.
