Monthly Inflation Slows to 1.7% in August, Lowest Reading in 14 Months

Economists said the print reflects easing price pressure amid soft growth and a stable peso, even as a QSocial Big Data survey found 48% of Argentines still rate the economic situation as poor and 75% of households report cutting spending to make ends meet.
